Visma is a privately held company headquartered in Oslo, Norway that provides business software and IT related development and consultancy. The company is majority owned by Hg, a private equity firm. The company was formed in 1996 in Norway, through the merging of Multisoft, SpecTec and Dovre Information Systems.
